In addition the structure is fire rated for a minimum of 1 hour and breathing apparatus is available for operators use in emergency situations.

A secure link to another monitoring centre allows operator’s with a push of a single button to summon assistance from police and fire services should an emergency arise and there is insufficient time to call these services by phone.

UPS and stand-by generator supports critical equipment, in the event of a mains power supply outage.

The existing 11Kva stand-by generator is soon to be replaced with a new Cummins 55Kva diesel generator and will be set up to provide three phase power to the entire building, not just the Monitoring Centre
